Wellness Techniques
Meditation
Meditation (included in Module 1) is a practice that involves training the mind to achieve a state of calmness, focus, and awareness. Research published in the journal “Psychosomatic Medicine” found that mindfulness meditation can reduce the levels of cortisol, the body's primary stress hormone. Based on a study published in NeuroImage, meditation can also improve focus and cognitive function by increasing gray matter density in the brain.
EFT Tapping
EFT tapping, which stands for "Emotional Freedom Technique" (included in Module 2) is a therapeutic method that combines elements of traditional Chinese acupressure and modern psychology. It involves tapping on specific meridian points on the body (such as the face, chest, and hands) while focusing on emotional distress or affirmations. EFT tapping combines physical stimulation with cognitive reframing, making it a powerful tool for reducing anxiety, pain, and emotional distress.
Deep Breathing
Deep breathing techniques (included in Module 3) have been widely studied for their profound impact on mental, emotional, and physical well-being. A study published in Frontiers in Psychology found that slow, deep breathing activates the parasympathetic nervous system, reducing cortisol levels and promoting relaxation. It also stimulates the vagus nerve, which triggers the "rest-and-digest" response.

Founder of ARTFUN RX
Shanna Israel is a Entrepreneur, Creative Director, Artist, and Producer who has worked with brands ranging from Nike to Madonna. Her work has been featured in People Magazine, Modern Luxury, ESPN and ABC. She’s also a “professional patient” who has seen more than a hundred MDs and medical practitioners over two decades due to complex medical conditions. Being an artist, Shanna turned to art and mind-body techniques to act as her therapy and medicine. Due to Shanna’s extensive health journey, she believes the vital road to one’s health starts with knowledge, followed by time, and then finances.
Shanna’s life story combining health, innovation, creativity, and art is the basis of ARTFUN RX and will be the answer for so many looking for hope, joy, fun, and optimal health through non-invasive, holistic practices.
